Philanthropic Involvement

Philanthropic Involvement in the Fight Against HIV/AIDS
A true multilevel, multisectoral response to HIV/AIDS can and should involve corporate philanthropic support and leadership (both grants and in-kind support) for HIV/AIDS organizations.

The first step in undertaking such efforts is enabling domestic and international corporate grantmakers to fully understand, anticipate, and effectively respond to the HIV/AIDS crisis through grants, in-kind donations, and other forms of corporate philanthropic leadership.

The next step is for corporations to work internally, with other corporate giving partners, and with other foundations and partners to explore the challenges and opportunities facing corporate grantmakers in creating and maintaining meaningful philanthropic strategies on HIV/AIDS.
