Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
This organization provides training, legal advice, or information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA is a federal law passed in 1990 covering businesses employing 15 or more persons. The law prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities, including persons living with HIV/AIDS, in all aspects of employment. The organization may also provide information on similar protective laws.
Employee Assistance Programs
This organization provides supportive and educational programs designed to help employees cope with emotional and behavioral problems that affect job performance. Examples include HIV/AIDS issues, dependent care issues, personal problems, and substance abuse issues.
Employee Education

This organization offers employment-based educational programs designed to provide managers and supervisors with accurate information on HIV/AIDS, to dispel myths and fears concerning working with persons living with HIV/AIDS, and to provide guidance for a company in managing employees living with HIV/AIDS. The organization may also offer education on developing company policies on HIV/AIDS, employee/employer rights, minimum performance obligations, global/local corporate image issues, and corporate philanthropy policies/goals.
Occupational Safety and Health
This organization provides training on infection control issues, first aid in the workplace, proper use of safety equipment, what to do in cases of exposure to blood, and employment laws on occupational safety and health. It may include training for certain job categories, such as health professionals, fire fighters, correctional officers, or other employment where one can expect to encounter blood or other body fluids on the job.
Return to Work Programs
This organization offers programs specifically focused on providing assistance to persons living with HIV/AIDS who ceased working because of health or other issues and who now desire to re-enter the work force. These programs cover the complex issues raised by this change in status such as individualized benefit evaluation, including Social Security, disability, and health insurance; tax and financial implications; emotional and mental readiness; disclosure issues; and legal protections from discrimination. They may also assist with obtaining a job.

This organization offers programs that cover issues specific to that union, including HIV/AIDS education, occupational and safety training, and union negotiation on benefits or policies that impact HIV/AIDS issues.
